One of the main obligations of all those responsible for monitoring LANs is to check and verify that it`s working correctly. With DEKSI Network Monitor you have everything necessary to do an analysis and checks.

DEKSI Network Monitor tells you if any PC or device has a problem or is out of service. You can send periodic signals to the devices to see if they receive and respond, and see if all the packets sent arrive correctly. You can configure it so that, if it detects any error, it automatically sends an email, sounds an alarm or even sends an SMS to your mobile phone.

All the activity and events produced on a LAN are recorded in a log file. DEKSI Network Monitor also tells you of the hosts available. You can also check the working of the TCP, SNMP and http ports; send ICMP pings; verify the use of the FTP, DNS, ARP, etc.
